One of his favorite ways to get in shape is through cardiovascular workouts like running. Running can strengthen your heart, lungs, and body through regular practice, but many people have overuse issues before they can get results. Form is everything when it comes to long distance running, and paying attention to each step will keep you running pain free for years.
The first thing you need to keep in mind when you run is how you’re striking the ground. You want to strike the ground with the front or ball of your foot, not you heel. This will keep the impact force felt on the body in the muscles rather than the joints.

The next thing you want to keep in mind in regards to your form is your upper body stability. Make sure you’re back is straight and upright as to not put any extra stress on the leg muscles.
